Give Your Paint Some Shine and Protection
An Easy Service That Makes a Real Difference
Make Your Paint Shine and Protect It Against the Binghamton Elements
When was the last time you had your paint protected? Whether it's been a few months, a few years, or never, your car's finish takes a beating from road grime, salt, and the changing seasons up here.
Maybe you just picked up a new vehicle and want to get the paint off on the right foot. Either way, a wash, clay, and protect is a great option.
You'll see a noticeable difference in the appearance, and once I'm done you'll actually be able to feel how smooth and slick the paint is. My customers love this service because it doesn't take long, but the results really make your paint pop.
The Wash, Clay & Protect Process
Here's a general breakdown of what the service looks like:
Clean wheels and tires: A proper detail starts at the wheels. Using a variety of brushes, I spray my cleaner, scrub, and rinse to remove the grime and brake dust.
Thorough hand wash: Next, I wash the vehicle from top to bottom, including the door jambs, gas cap, and any bugs stuck to the front end.
Clay bar treatment: This step removes stuck-on dirt and debris that a normal wash can't get. Your paint will feel noticeably smoother afterward.
Apply wax or sealant: Once the paint is prepped, I apply a quality sealant to add that layer of shine and protection.
Dress the tires: I finish the tires with a water-based dressing to make them look great. It's dry to the touch once applied, no sticky or greasy residue.
Clean exterior glass: Finally, I clean all the exterior glass and windows so you've got crystal clear visibility.

Mobile Detailing Serving Binghamton and the Surrounding Area
Tripp's Auto Detailing is the go-to choice for anyone who wants high-quality detailing done right at their location. I offer a range of services from deep interior cleanings to paint correction and protection, all performed with the same level of care and attention no matter the vehicle.
Whether you're looking to preserve a newer car, refresh a daily driver, or protect a work truck, I bring the same dedication to every job.
My reputation is built on transparency and quality work, backed by customers across the area who've trusted me with their vehicles and taken the time to leave 5-star reviews.
Interior Cleaning Services
Interior Deep Cleaning: Your interior sees a lot, dirt, dust, crumbs, stains, and buildup that accumulates over time. I go through every surface top to bottom, vacuuming, wiping, scrubbing, and extracting to get your cabin looking and feeling fresh again.
Interior Refresh: Not every car needs a full deep clean, sometimes you just need a reset. I'll vacuum, wipe down surfaces, clean the windows, and dress the trim to leave your interior looking tidy and smelling fresh without the full detail commitment.
Odor Elimination Treatment: Lingering odors aren’t just a smell, they’re microscopic particles embedded in every fiber and vent. My removal process targets those particles at the source, combining deep chemical agitation with ozone treatment to actually break down odor molecules rather than masking them with fragrance.
Exterior Detailing Services
Wash, Clay & Protect: A thorough exterior service that goes beyond a standard wash. I clean the wheels, hand wash the vehicle top to bottom, perform a clay bar treatment to remove embedded contaminants, and finish with a quality sealant to add gloss and protect your paint.
Paint Correction: Over time your paint picks up swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation that dull the finish. Using machine polishing, I work through the paint to eliminate those defects and restore a deep, mirror-like shine.
Detailed Hand Wash: A careful, swirl-free hand wash that leaves no detail untouched. From the wheel faces to the door jambs, I clean every surface and finish with streak-free glass and a tire dressing for a crisp, showroom-ready appearance.
Wash, Clay & Protect FAQs
What kind of product do you use? I work with a few trusted brands including Meguiars, 3D, and Griot’s Garage depending on what I'm working on and what I think is the best fit for your paint.
How long will the protection last? It really comes down to how you store your car. If it's garaged most of the time, you can expect four to six months of protection. If it's sitting outside in the sun, cold, and rain around the clock, you're looking at closer to three months. Also worth noting, automatic and tunnel washes will start stripping the protective layer off your paint.
Does this remove scratches? On its own, no. The sealant protects and adds gloss but won't correct surface defects. That said, I can add an all-in-one polish to the service if you'd like to knock out some of the lighter swirls and scratches at the same time. Just ask when booking.
